It's the 1980s, and Felix Gallardo takes the helm of the Guadalajara Cartel, unifying traffickers to build an empire. As DEA agent Kiki Camarena moves his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take on a new post, he learns his assignment is more challenging than he imagined.       The_Matthew S It's pulpy fun. I think the episodes are stretched a bit too wide and I found myself ff'ing a bunch. Some great character work here - Scoot Mcnairy - really shines. But what brings every scene to a grinding booooring halt is Diego Luna. He plays so flat and lights up a cigarette in every scene - and I am not being hyperbolic. I was coughing from my sofa.
