The rest of the Robinson clan should be on the lookout for danger, as well, because they are facing challenging times. It's 30 years in the future and the family has been chosen to start a new life in a space colony. On the way to what they believe will be a better world, the Robinsons' ship is abruptly thrown off course and they are thrown into a dangerous alien environment. Now light-years from their original destination, they must forge new alliances and work together to survive. Stranded with the Robinsons are unsettlingly charismatic Dr. Smith and inadvertently charming Don West, two outsiders who are thrown together by circumstance and a mutual knack for deception. Danette Chavez AV Club You won't get lost in Lost In Space, but the family-friendly adventures of the Robinsons will still make for solid viewing over the holiday break. Rated: C+ Dec 26, 2019 Full Review Tyler Hersko indieWire With a tighter and more original narrative and more fleshed out characters, the series could become a genuinely great sci-fi adventure if Netflix decides to renew it for a third season. Rated: C+ Dec 26, 2019 Full Review Bryan Reesman NBC News THINK A clan with equal gender involvement, not to mention its imperfections and conflicts, feels a lot more like a modern American family. It's all a step forward in realistic storytelling within a far-out context. Apr 22, 2021 Full Review Sherin Nicole Geek Girl Riot Such a good family action-adventure series. It is relentless. The Robinsons cannot catch a break-everything goes wrong for them-but their misfortune is our joy because it may be a terrible life to live but it's an incredible story to watch. Jan 22, 2020 Full Review Aisha Jordan Black Nerd Problems Lost in Space Season 2 is non-stop adrenaline and melodramatic tears. That sounds terrible, but it's not so bad if you like drama and sci-fi mixed together. Jan 8, 2020 Full Review Ed Fortune Starburst Lost in Space is a show that happens to be exactly where it wants to be. Middle of the road and accessible for all. Gareth v A superior second season. The production values are still high, but the plot is more focused. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/24/23 Full Review Mike M Really enjoyed it! I came in with low expectations and was surprised. Yes there is sometimes the issue of the plot being driven by simply "another emergency" all the time. But the characters are interesting and overall I really enjoyed this series. Season 2 -- just as good as season 1! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review Master_KayOz Incredibly bad writing combined with mediocre acting. Characters are very shallow and not at all credible (the designated baddie is more likeable than the mother of the family, the kids only speak up about their issues in the middle of more pressing matter and the rest of the crew acts a dumb ad doorstops) Suspense is built by overmilked tropes and all too foreseeable "challenges". If at any time you ask yourself "what could go wrong now?", it will be the first thing that comes to mind that actually happens next. Very disappointing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/20/22 Full Review Audience Member The worst season of the show for me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review ryan l Can't wait until season 3, season 2 was an absolute rush! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyed season 2, probably not as much as season 1 but close. Dr. Smith was the standout again, the rest of the characters were just okay. Like season 1; love how the episodes end and make you anticipate the next. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
