      Part 1 – Paradise PD

2018 Holiday Crime Comedy Animation List
40% 5 Reviews Tomatometer 59% 250+ Ratings Audience Score This animated series geared toward adults follows a police department that doesn't do a great job of protecting the backwater, small town where it is located. The officers on the force are bad -- not in the sense of being no-nonsense or cool, but bad in the sense of doing a poor job of policing the town. With cops like these, there's no need for criminals. Leading the crew is Chief Randall Crawford, who is voiced by "SpongeBob SquarePants" actor Tom Kenny. Read More Read Less

ShadowFireNinja S Hideous animation style, painfully unfunny jokes, incomprehensible references, mediocre voice acting, and unnecessary and downright cringe usage of adult themes. Another Rotten modern Adult Animated Series. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/10/23 Full Review Commander K This show is solid gold!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/02/23 Full Review Not Y Love it. We need more animation like this Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/14/23 Full Review Lukas K The animated Netflix comedy Paradise PD is aimed at an adult audience and tells the story of a group of police officers, all of whom don't take the law too seriously. As "bad cops" they would like to come across as really cool. At the end of the day, however, they have to admit that "Bad" simply has to be translated as bad and pathetic in their case, because every mission ends in disaster. "Paradise PD" is quite OK if you like excessive fecal humor and can amuse yourself about it for hours. Even though there seems to be a lot of inspiration from "Family Guy" here, the series doesn't even come close to matching it. The jokes are just too dull for that. Paradise PD had its moments, but nothing more. I'm not eagerly waiting for a new season. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/10/23 Full Review Dvid R Mindblowing idiotism, dark humor. I love it. However, the characters were slightly better in Brickleberry. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Worse than family guy. That says alot. Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald Paradise PD's prize recruit is a young idiot who accidentally shoots his policeman father's testicles off within moments of the series beginning. Sep 12, 2018 Full Review Jesse Schedeen IGN Movies If you're content with the mindless zaniness of shows like Family Guy or this show's own predecessor, Brickleberry, Paradise PD has its charms. Rated: 6.1/10 May 10, 2019 Full Review Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media Crass police comedy has cursing, drugs, crude humor. Rated: 2/5 Sep 12, 2018 Full Review Audra Schroeder The Daily Dot Paradise PD is blunt-force humor without much emotional attachment. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 5, 2018 Full Review Joel Keller Decider If it were just a little bit funnier, we'd recommend it. But it's just not worth sitting through the many unfunny, dirty gags to get to the good stuff. Sep 4, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
