Imran z I think it is the best ever Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review Rose R Greatest show of all time. A masterpiece Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Benjamin H Imaginative, smartly written and filled with thrills, Lost Season 1 suffers a few times in its pacing, but this is an emotionally fulfilling and sharp-witted show that further enthralls with its stupendous blend of different genres and rich character depth. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Chase C Pretty good, but it has a lot of pointless cliffhangers / flashbacks. And things that are brought up aren't looked at again until like 10 episodes later. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/05/24 Full Review Kate T It's a soap opera set on an island. Cheesy situations, cheesy dialogue and cheesy music to help manipulate the emotions of the audience to believe it's more than the writers and directors can accomplish. The cast does a good enough job with all of it but trouble is, you get so sick of watching them bob their way through and fairly all become despicable in character. I even came to hate the supposed hero and heroine. Barf bag needed starting episode three. I watched this trough episode 9 because someone told me it was a great series. I simply cannot watch any more. Many people love soaps so if you do, you will like it in spite of how ridiculous it all is. I gave it two stars for set, editing, and a few good actors. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review Jacob B A compelling first season of television, Lost is an entertaining survival/mystery series with great performances, memorable characters (all hail Terry O'Quinn's John Locke!), solid chemistry between them and a ton of intrigue when it comes to the Island and its secrets. A great mix of drama and thrills that did a solid job easing people into the world of serialised narratives in television proving that this type of TV wasn't going to be a brief trend that would die when 24 went off the air.
