Using his love for comics as inspiration, teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) decides to reinvent himself as a superhero -- despite a complete lack of special powers. This feels more of a realistic superhero movie if you wanna be a superhero in the real world. No superpowers, just your wits and guts and expect to get hurt really bad. Despite the bloody violence, it's an excellent movie to show that being a superhero is not that easy as it sounds, especially compared to Avengers or Justice League. 8/10.

A lot of fun. The level of focus on the action, mixed with sarcastic humor, an energetic score, and well choregraphed fight scenes, seems the foundation of many quality movies that follow, including in the MCU, even if toned down for general audiences.

This was one of my all time favorites. I own it on DVD and still watch it occasionally. I really enjoy seeing family and friends initial reaction to this film. Most really like it. It's definitely worth the watch.
